How to Honor Our Loved Ones

You may be asking yourself one of these questions:

"How do I honor my loved one who recently passed?"

"What do I get someone I wasn't super close to?"

"How do I "pay" my respects on a budget?"

Life happens and we all come to a part in our life where we lose a loved one. This may be a friend, family member, coworker, patient, or even a complete stranger. Regardless of who it is, there is one thing in common... Everyone wants to honor their loved one at the highest level possible. And there is nothing wrong with that! Now lets talk about how we can do this.

Types of funeral arrangements:

  • Casket Spray

A Casket Spray is the flower arrangement that goes on top of the casket. This tends to be the arrangement that is seen most during a funeral as this sits on top of the casket throughout a viewing, service, and right before the burial. A casket spray can range in price depending on the size of the arrangement, types of flowers used and/or colors you are wanting. A Casket Spray can be customized to meet exactly what you are looking to do to honor your special loved one.💓

  • Standing Spray

A standing spray can be flowers that are blooming out from the center to crosses, hearts, or other wreaths handing on an easel. These tend to be set on the sides or near the casket during a funeral service and/or during burial. Just like the casket spray, these too can be customized in size, flowers, style, and color to meet your needs.

  • Sympathy Gifts

Sympathy arrangement gifts tend to be popular for extended family and friends of the recently passed to get to show their love and compassion to the family. These are usually present at the viewing, service, and sometimes the burial as well. The family is able to easily take these home after the funeral to enjoy and remember their beloved. Bouquet arrangements are small pieces than the others listed above and can also be customized in style, color, size, and flowers.

  • Boutonniere

The wearing of a boutonniere is something common to see at funerals. Boutonniere's can be seen being worn by the recently passed and/or by close family members, and/or the Paul bearers. Some see this as another way to be matching and connected with their loved one.

An additional expression of love can be shown by the spouse, parent, sibling, child, etc. wear a similar but matching pinning corsage as seen below:
